When entering the restaurant, several unrefrigerated chickens were noticed in the kitchen. I find this very questionable due to the outside temperature of approx. 31 ° C at this time due to the growth of bacteria. When entering the restaurant there were no other customers in the restaurant despite the evening time. So we were served immediately. However, the waitress had a cold. The nasal stridor could still be heard well at a distance of about 5 m. Even if you are self-employed, I find it irresponsible to serve customers without an FFP2 mask in a coronavirus situation if you yourself have symptoms. The drink was initially wrongly delivered, even though we were the only customers. The food didn't taste good. The mushrooms came out of the can. The rest of the vegetables were cut so homogeneously that I would guess frozen goods. The tofu still had the grain of the plastic packaging. If a restaurant has almost no customers, then durable goods are certainly understandable from an economic and hygienic point of view - but the taste fell by the wayside.

We ate at this Chinese restaurant around 6pm tonight because it was highly rated. We entered a completely empty restaurant and were greeted by the owner with a "how many". Unfortunately, we only noticed at the table that the owner who served us had a cold. We couldn't enjoy our food anymore and I have to say that, given the current situation, please stay at home if you are sick. When asked if she had a very cold, she said it was just her throat. The restaurant was not air-conditioned. Unfortunately our food didn't taste good either. We had the hot pot dish with meat and a tofu dish. I have never seen a Chinese restaurant use canned mushrooms instead of fresh mushrooms in their dishes. I have to say that my hot pot dish at € 17.50 was not cheap but rather expensive and from my point of view that doesn't justify the canned mushrooms at all. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this restaurant.

We went with the family to the Canton because of the excellent reviews! ??? When we went up the ice-cold staircase to the 1st floor and went into the old restaurant for 4th (2 adults + 2 children), the boss came directly and asked in a loud voice (without 1 hello!) Many, many!? But that didn't play anyway roll, because most of the tables were empty anyway, so we sat down at the entrance. (lots of pull) :-( When the lukewarm cola, mineral water and the glued menu were on the table, it was clear to me that something was wrong! When the menus after 20 min. were on the table, we couldn't believe our eyes! (We had already had good food with 4 Chinese in Waldshut alone!) The food was barely recognizable as Chinese food with the eye, just as tasty :-( Spring rolls are also from another world, and totally batter :-( And the rice smelled strange! That was our worst, cheapest meal in a praised restaurant !!!? Ps. Behind the house you can see the window to the kitchen with the big old greased mosquito net, there is a lot clear!

As always eaten very well - the boss greets every guest with her very personal nature, regardless of how full the restaurant is - always welcome even with a big dog - the traditional plum brandy at the end shows the hospitality - the price-performance ratio is just great ! We have been coming for 15 years - and always happy ??!

The restaurant is small and looks nicely decorated. There is a buffet, but only at certain times. The staff is on the way and always works hard. The last time the food at the buffet was better than the food in the served part. The sweet & sour was a bit bland and the duck cooked a bit too tight. The Shenzhen dish was delicious. The dishes are very authentic cooked. The prices are also very fair.

The best China restaurant in the Waldshut district. We go out to eat here very often. It is always freshly cooked everything we have tried so far was great. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Just to recommend who wants to have good cheap Chinese.

A lot of food! Good taste too!

In the street behind a huge, modern Chinese restaurant, it is almost lost. Since the canton is already much longer and rightly so. It is small but nice, you are sitting comfortably, all are really nice and the food is impeccable: really delicious and freshly prepared. Always worth a visit

I had an excellent lunch today at the restaurant. They cook the food very close to the original flavour as found in Hong Kong from where the Chef and wife owner of the restaurant come from. The restaurant has a good ambience, food is good, served hot and very tasty. Highly recommended.
